At first I thought Senator Tupperware was just being a Southern white racist asshole, the way Steve King was a Midwestern white racist asshole, intentionally saying aloud what he actually thought. But after his clarifications it's clear that he is a Southern white racist asshole who doesn't understand the meaning of what comes out of his mouth. Who would be astonished if someone took umbrage at being thanked with the compliment, "that's mighty white of you."
The GOP playbook is to simply accuse someone of something, apply "funny names" to the accused (then Lying Hillary, now Biden Crime Family) and keep hammering on the accused over and over again without any evidence substantiating the accusations.
The irony, of course, is that all the crimes that ReTrumplican'ts accuse Dems of perpetrating are the ones that are perpetrated by their own rank and file with proof and receipts.

"America...What a country!!!" but meant in an entirely different way than today's Commie-Ruskie GOP supporters wanting to ape what he was satirizing.
One would think that the Repubs on Mr Comer's "investigative committee" would get together so that their stories all aligned. Instead, what we are getting is the usual word salad, a variation of the story of the six blind men encountering an elephant for the first time. It appears that none of the Rs have the full picture, just their own little piece, and yet they all continue to bloviate and smear as if they are actually unified in their knowledge of what is going on with the whistleblowers (disgruntled former FBI agents) and the "star" informants.
Smear and innuendo against the "Biden Crime Family" have worked for the MAGA bunch before, and they are using it again to try to cover up their incompetence in keeping track of their alleged witnesses. They have nothing concrete, but that won't stop them from trying to squeeze out an impeachable offense in retaliation for the indignities the Dems heaped on the Tangerine Tyrant.
One has to wonder about the quality of those being called before the committee if nine out of ten are either in court, in jail or missing (the implication of which is that Biden and the Dems will do anything to prevent their testifying) - which includes one with an Interpol arrest warrant out for him.
As for Sen Tuberville, and his bovine scat, I have two words: "get bent."
Time for President Joe to tell the country he will invoke the 14th Amendment to protect the Nation’s “full faith and credit” and at the same time tell the Supremes that if they want to stop him, he will use Andrew Jackson’s answer to Marshall: “Justice Marshall has made his decision, now let him enforce it.”
Maybe the whistleblowers are hiding in a ChatBox. We need to get used to that concept. And maybe the Coach from Alabama does not realize that abortion is not a national security issue. Yet.
Is it just me or doesn't this sound an awful lot like all those voter fraud "witnesses" that just evaporated when they found out they had to testify under oath and there were penalties for lying. As for senator Tommy, what makes you think he believes that white nationalist is a slur?

I think the intent of Republicans is to damn Democrats via innuendo. They got nothing, so they set up dark scenarios of missing witnesses - it’s much easier than actually doing any work. And their base doesn’t have the IQ to ask intelligent questions, which serves the scheme quite well.
