Okay if Marji rolled that line about "I'm a member of congress and you're not" at me she better hope my mic's dead because right off the top of my head the response was "I'm sorry, I hear the pay sucks."

I don't understand this Hunter Biden lap top story. So Hunter took a crappy laptop to a Blind computer repair guy and asked him to do what? Fix it? Instead of fixing it, he removed the hard drive and gave it to a representative of the Republican Party. In the meantime, this lap top, which contained classified information, was abandoned by Hunter Biden because he was a) high or b) not worried about the content and no longer thought it worth picking up.

Now this is a big deal to the Republicans because there are photos of Hunter's junk? How does that in anyway reflect on President Biden? Most people would feel sad that the only son he has left made a fool of himself.....again.

You're doing a damn fine job Joe. Keep it up.

That hearing really proved what a lot of folks have suspected for awhile: Republicans are in Congress to try-out for TV gigs, Dems at least want to actually govern even if they're often bad at it.

This was yesterday? Weird, it wasn't mentioned at all today over at National Review, huh.

I would think the American people are going to get nervous if now the Congress can take your lap top, break the encryption and delve into your personal business if you happen to drop it off at a repair shop and the repairman decides the content should be made public.

That doesn't sound right.

I would also like to say, seeing how Marge conducts herself on committees, that maybe it was a mistake to kick her off them a couple years ago.

Just think how much content we've been deprived of.

Well, all I can say is "Thank you, Joe" for covering this. I enjoy reading your reports... but simply cannot stomach actually watching these sadistic imps preening and auditioning for God knows what... It's wonderful that you can handle it, but I don't envy you having to look at them, listen to their voices, and be exposed to their toxic idiocy. Maybe you should be receiving hazard pay???

My comment addresses the cuts to social security , the contempt of mike Lee as he says " there'll be growing pains" . Seriously ?

I am 80, I've watched a lot of political coverage ; Rs have never been about helping people but the casual cruelty of this gang is breathtaking .

It's not just that the gop has gone semi-fascist: it's the complete lack of interest in honesty that is the truly sickening component of modern gop behavior.

Yes I like your reporting. I also LOVE Dan Goldman, what an incredible thing for a freshman to say. Ms Greene and Ms Boebert continued their "class" act. My Mom had an expression for what they are doing. She would have said they both just "showed their ass". They did that Tuesday night as well.

I wish Democrats would first play a video of MTG yelling "liar" during Biden's SOTU followed the many video clips of Republicans calling for cuts to Medicare, SS and Medicaid. Off the top of my head, I can remember Ron Johnson, Mike Lee and Rick Scott but I know many other Republicans have called for these cuts.

Being “grilled” by Lauren Boebert and MTG is one of the really good reasons executives of big corporations deserve their high pay.

The problem with congressional housing ideas is that “ NIMBY” would probably prevent it. One congress person would be ok, but a shelter of them would bring unwanted noise, crime , and corruption. Also think of all the streams of unsavory characters that it would attract.

This collection of feral puppies needs to be stuffed in burlap bags and dropped into the Potomac off the 14th Street Bridge.
